Oregon Soils
Soils information is
central to NRCS conservation planning efforts. NRCS works with federal, tribal, state, and university partners
and others to inventory and map Oregon's soils as part of the National
Cooperative Soil Survey. Oregon's Technical Soil Services team provides assistance with the interpretation and
application of soil survey data. The state soils office, located in Portland, OR, coordinates all NRCS soil activities within the
state.
