6 Digit Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC) Areas
Oregon
National Resources Inventory Results
Select one of the following:
HUC - Hydrologic Unit Code. A hydrologic unit is a drainage
area delineated to nest in a multi-level, hierarchical drainage system. Its
boundaries are defined by hydrographic and topographic criteria that delineate
an area drained by a river system, a reach of a river and its tributaries in
that reach, a closed basin(s), or a group of stream forming a coastal drainage
area. Each hydrologic unit is identified by a unique hydrologic unit code (HUC)
consisting of two to twelve digits based on the six levels of classification in
the hydrologic unit system.
