- Oregon OnePlan
Nutrient Management Planner
will soon be replacing ORAWM as the tool used in development of CNMPs.
OnePlan has been CCE certified and will be made available to NRCS employees
7/08. All other interested groups can download the free software here.
- In addition to having the NMP software on your computer, you will
need to add a website to the list of trusted sites on your internet
browser. To do this:
- Open your internet browser
- Click on Tools --> Internet Options -->
Security --> Trusted Sites --> Sites
- Type in the following website in
the space next to the ADD button:
http://maps.informationdesigns.com
- Click OK

Idaho OnePlan is similar to Oregon and may be used in Oregon for special
cases. Contact the
Environmental Engineer for more details if you think this applies to
you.

The Waste Storage Period Determination Worksheet
(DOC, 75 KB) is used to
calculate the number of days needed to store animal waste during the wet
winter months. Examples include a completed worksheet for the following
locations: North Coast (DOC,
76 KB), Willamette Valley (DOC,
79 KB), and Eastern Oregon (DOC,
74 KB).

Livestock Manure Storage Assessment Worksheet
(DOC, 107 KB)
will calculate a risk level regarding the impact of waste storage on ground
and surface waters as well as a risk rating for yard management.

The animal feeding operation (AFO) inventory worksheet
(DOC, 349 KB) is
helpful when beginning a CNMP. Print this worksheet and fill it out during
the site visit.

When preparing or reviewing a CNMP please use the
Oregon CNMP Checklist (XLS, 60 KB) to ensure
CNMP meets Oregon CNMP requirements.

Oregon Animal Waste Management (ORAWM)
(XLS, 1.21 MB) spreadsheet is a
tool used for developing CNMPs in Oregon.
Tech Note 5 (DOC, 5.67 MB) provides some guidance on using ORAWM.
