Hatch Patterns

These are block drawings that can be added to the ones already available in CAD.

These new patterns may be downloaded and installed onto your computer using the following instructions.

  1. Open Windows Explorer.
  2. Navigate to the AutoCAD Support directory. By default this should be located at
    C:\Documents and Settings\user.name\Application Data\Autodesk\Autodesk Map 3D 2005\R16.1\enu\Support
  3. Rename:
    • acad.pat to acad.bak.pat
  4. Download the file acad.pat and place in support directory.
  5. When you open AutoCAD the new hatch patterns will be available for loading into the drawings.
