Plant Material Centers and Plant Material Program
The National Plant Materials
Program website provides information on NRCS developed conservation plant
materials and technologies.
Plant Material Centers (PMCs) – Four different PMCs test and develop new
varieties of shrubs, forbs, and grasses and develop new plant material
technologies for use in Oregon. The following web-sites contain information
about each Center, current studies and activities, plant releases, riparian and
wetland tools, technical notes, and plant fact sheets. The Corvallis PMC
services the western side of the State while the Aberdeen, Fallon, and Pullman
PMCs service the eastern side of the State.
