Basin Wildlife Issues and Ranking -- Snake River Basin

Create, Restore and Enhance sage grouse and upland wildlife habitats.

Ranking:

Will the treatment you intend to implement include creation, enhancement and/or restoration of grassland, riparian, sage brush, or shrub-steppe habitats, focusing on upland bird nesting and broad rearing, fawning, or calving habitat? 35pts
Will the treatment include establishment of thermal and hiding cover? 15pts
Is perennial water presently available at 1/2 mile spacing or intermittent water available at 1/4 mile spacing on the property? OR, if not, will the treatment provide wildlife specific water developments? 15pts
Will the wildlife areas be managed according to the snake basin upland wildlife habitat management guide? 75pts
Will the treatment include establishing, enhancing and managing buffers around upland water sources or riparian areas for upland bird or big game habitat? 30pts
Will the treatment you intend to implement provide travel corridors and habitat connectivity, such as “field borders”? 15pts
Will the treatment you intend to implement provide food sources managed specifically for wildlife, such as un-harvested crop areas or food plots? 15pts
