Basin Wildlife Issues and Ranking -- High Desert Basin

Create, restore and enhance wildlife habitats for aquatic and terrestrial.

Ranking:

Is the WHIP funded restoration planned on private or tribal land? 25pts
Does the applicant have successful experience with wildlife habitat restoration planning, contract implementation, and working with wildlife agencies? 30pts
Is the project covered under programmatic consultation, if needed, or one will be completed by a third party prior to construction with WHIP funds? (No funds will be authorized without required environmental compliance.) 40pts
Will planting and/or management promote establishment or maintenance of a mix of native vegetation? 30pts
Will the planned restoration or enhancement change the existing land use to a wildlife land use?  40pts
Does the planned area include 10 or more acres? 25pts
Will the project(s) compliment existing Resource Management Systems? 10pts
