    3 Stand has a medium density of pre-commercial trees. 30
    4 Project is located within 1/4mi of DCH Bull-Trout Designation Area. 10
    5 Project is located within 1/2mi of 303D listed stream. 10

    2 Irrigation index for installed practices must have a minimum score of a 15 point or greater increase. 45
    3 Project is located within the Keating SWCD Watershed boundary. 45
    4 Practices result in a 3o point or greater increase in the irrigation index score. 25
    5 Practices result in a 25 to 29 point increase in index score. 20
    6 Practices result in a 20 to 24 point increase in the irrigation index score 10

    1 Project is located within 1 mile of WUI or current wildfire area. 100
    2 Installed Practices will reduce sheet/rill erosion 50. 50
    3 Project will promote two years of rest. (Use Exclusion) 15
    4 Wildfire location has areas of intense burns. 15
    5 WUI project area has heavy fuel loads. 10
    6 Producer will allowing the following partners to be included in the project: BLM or USFS/ODFW/ODF/Baker Co. Weed District. 5
    7 Project is located in current or historic sage grouse area. 5

    1 Is the irrigation index score 30 points or greater? 75
    2 Is the irrigation index score 25-29 points? 40
    3 Is the irrigation index score 20-24 points? 25
    4 Is the irrigation index score 15-19 points? 10
    5 Is this the applicant’s first contract with NRCS, OR are all cost shared practices in active contracts on schedule, AND were all cost shared practices in previous contracts completed as agreed? 75
    6 Has the applicant provided nutrient application and herbicide/pesticide information for all lands, AND tillage and crop rotation information for hay/crop lands and grazing rotation records for pasture by field (Cons. Records book or other form of documentation)? 20
    7 Has the applicant applied for improvements on grazing or hay lands or has he provided a copy of a soils test taken on cropland dated within the last three years? 20
    8 Will the conservation plan result in positive impacts on wildlife habitat? 10

    Local Ranking Criteria

    1 Is this the applicant’s first contract with NRCS, OR are all cost shared practices in active contracts on schedule, AND were all cost shared practices in previous contracts completed as agreed? 55
    2 Will the treatment improve livestock distribution on grazing land? 20
    3 Will the COST SHARED treatment have a SIGNIFICANT positive impact on the trend, health, and condition of the range or pasture lands for the applicable tract? 25
    4 Has the applicant provided grazing rotation records by field for at least two grazing seasons (Cons. Records book or other form of documentation)? 20
    5 Has the applicant provided other existing inventory information (fence locations, nutrient applications, herbicide/pesticide applications, forage utilization, etc.) by field or land use? 20
    6 Is there an existing viable weed control program or will the treatment directly result in control or reduction in the spread of noxious or invasive weeds? 20
    7 Is the producer willing to manage livestock grazing in such a way to allow each field to reach seed set at least one in three years? 10
    8 Will the conservation plan result in positive impacts on wildlife habitat? 10
    9 If present, will the treatment improve or protect riparian areas from negative impacts of grazing? (If no perennial or ephemeral streams are present, points are awarded.) 10
    10 Will the proposed project treat the applicable resource concern(s) on all areas of the tract where this resource concern(s) is an issue (or as much area as possible up to the contract cap)? 10

    1 Installed practices result in greater than a 30 point increase in the irrigation index score. 55
    2 Installed practices result in a 25 - 29 point increase in the irrigation index score. 35
    3 Installed practices result in a 16 - 24 point increase in the irrigation index score. 25
    4 Installed practices result in a 5 - 15 point increase in the irrigation index score. 15
    5 Are wildlife concerns treated in the plan to meet or exceed quality criteria? (water, cover, food, etc.) 20
    6 Previous contracts with this applicant are current or completed, or this will be the applicants first contract. 30
    7 Installed practices result in a 10 percent reduction in energy use. 10
    8 Installed practices result in a 15 percent reduction in energy use. 20
    9 Installed practices result in a 20 percent reduction in energy use, or is a gravity system, or is a conversion from flood to sprinkler. 30
    10 Installed practices result in decreased water use not accounted for in the irrigation index score. 20

    3 Landowner manages grazing to include rest rotation or deferred grazing strategies on each field at least once every three years. 50
    4 Previous contracts with this applicant are current or completed, or this will be applicants first contract. 60

    5 Project is located in a Priority Water Quantity limited watershed (Bear Creek, Lostine River, Hurricane Creek). 25

    Practices will address the application of nutrients and pesticides. Cost share will assist landowners in adopting technology to reduce overlap associated with pesticide and nutrient application.

    1 Will your crop rotation have a STIR value between 30 and 60? 20
    2 Will your crop rotation have a STIR value of < 30? 40
    3 Are you willing to apply nutrients using auto steer technology and gps guided application methods? 30
    4 Are you willing to apply pesticides using auto steer, auto boom technology, and gps guided application methods? Previous contracts with this applicant are 75 current or completed, or this will be the applicants first contract. 30
    5 Previous contracts with this applicant are current or completed, or this will be the applicant's first contract? 75
