Computer Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) -- Requesting ToolKit Assistance
To send Remote Assistance request:
1. Click Start and then All Programs and choose Remote
Assistance.
2. Invite someone to help you. (Figure 1)

3. Enter email address of person you want to help you.
Click Invite this person. (Figure 2)

4. Type in a message to the recipient (optional). Click Continue

5. Change "hours" to "days". Clear checkbox for password.
Click Send invitation. (Figure 4)

6. If the Microsoft Exchange Server pop-up appears, click "Connect".
When the Microsoft Outlook pop-up prompts: "A program is trying to access
email...", check box :allow for one minute" and click "Yes". When
progress bar finishes, click "Yes" again. (Figures 5, 6 and 7)

7. After selecting Yes to both prompts, your request for remote
assistance will be sent. (Figure 8)

8. Call person who you requested help from. They will be able to view your
screen to assist you.
